I am a 52 (2012) year old woman who had her first colonoscopy just this year. I had had a few issues including a change in my bowel habits and recurrent rectal bleeding that I and my doctors had always attributed to my long standing hemorrhoid problem.

7-13-2012 – CT scan – CEA = 90

7-14-2012 – sigmoid colon resection – 15cm removed plus right ovary – 7 lymph nodes checked and clear – dx stage 4 adenocarcinoma – colorectal cancer – 7 days in hospital

7-30-2012 – Bard Power Port inserted in right upper chest

8-3-2012 – PET/CT scan – clear – CEA = 8.5

8-8-2012 – First of 12 chemotherapy treatments – FOLFOX6 – every other week

8-22-2012 – Second of 12 chemo; oxi dose reduced
